How To Get Companions To Change Clothes Fallout 4

They will equip whatever has the highest DT in their inventory, with the exception of Faction armor (ie. Boone won't clothing Legion armor). If the clothes you lot give her take lower DT, and then she won't equip them.

The game treats both equally the aforementioned thing.
If you want to have her wearable, let'south say, that dress from the women at the Ultra Luxe, then yous're out of luck, because they take no DT, then Cass will never vesture them.

Of course, you can e'er mod your game then you lot can dress your followers directly.

Put the apparel you desire them to wearable in their inventory, observe the id on the wiki, open console, select Cass, enter in equipitem xxxxxx 1

does it have to be cass or tin can it be whatsoever character?

also agree with the other guy you lot need the clothing and weapons to have either more than DT or harm than the default items they have.

It sucks tbh b/c you lot can't give them a surplus of say 9mm ammo and a 9mm sub machine gun to be useful instead of getting less mileage from selling them for caps.
